I am Fredcat the Famous and I am so cool

Mr. B reckons I have it too good!

Welcome to a gallery of great photographs

A few snapshops of me - and others! - for you to enjoy
I'm a beautiful tuxedo cat who crept into the heart of Dana

I' so good!

This is a photo of Gizmo who has been living for twelve years with Dana from LA, who is one of my regular human readers - and reporter. I'm a beautiful female tuxedo cat and I just love living on the west coast where the sun is so warm! Like Frankie, I have been microchipped (!) to make sure that I never lose my way.

This box lid is just fine

We'll squeeze by!

This is a photo of Goldy and Tigger who used to live with one of Fredcat's regular human readers - and reporter - Dana from L.A. They were sisters and were much loved. Like me they displayed their beautiful ginger colouring with lovely white chests; they could easily have been my sisters!

This is not my usual bed you know

Comfortable all the same!

This is a photo of Smokey, who lives in Denmark with his best human friend, Margaret. Despite being Danish, Smokey can understand English which is just as well because I'm not sure I can hone my my feline skills sufficiently to learn the Danish language right now. Please don't think that Smokey spends all his time in this interesting receptacle - but it does fit his handsome shape rather well, don't you think?

I reckon I'm Fredcat's long lost twin

A spitting image in many ways!

This is a photo of Jodicat. He has a wonderful colour combination, complete with all the Famous One's markings, which means that his best human friend, Jodi, is cetain that he is Fredcat's long lost twin brother. Fredcat is not sure how his potential twin came to be living up in the snowy north of the US but he is pleased to welcome him to his photo gallery nontheless.

I've a bit iof a soft spot for Fredcat

And I'm sure his has feelings for me as well!

This is a photo of Miss Kitty. Miss Kitty is a real lovely feline and she prepared a superb Valentine's day message for Fredcat with her very own paws which he very much enjoyed reading. Miss Kitty has a best human friend, Ann W. who looks after Miss Kitty well. They asked Fredcat to forward them a new bumper sticker which he was very pleased to do.

I've had a wonderful life

I'm positive I was a real favourite of my best human friend; she really liked me!

This is a photo of Tigger. All her life Tigger was a real cool cat. She could sit for hours listening to her favourite jazz records - but she was always ready for tea! With four hungry felines and a d*g living with her in Marg's residence she had to be on the ball, to get in there and get her fair share of anything and everything! Tigger passed away from kidney failure recently, and she is sorely missed.

I look very appealing in his photograph

My best human friend, Margaret, really likes me, I kmow!

This is a photo of me, Snotty. I know, it's not the most romantic or appealing moniker but I'm not like my name at all! But it is my very own name and I'm very proud of it - and of my pride of place in Marg's residence! I ask you, don't I look sweet?

We like being together and we think this residence is wonderful

No other feline is allowed!

These are Jackson Aurek, Bartholomew Miyamoto, Giovanni Sinatra and Lena Renee (the orange tabby, dark tabby, Siamese seal point and Siamese lilac point, respectively). They live with Giselle and find it all rather comfy!

This is my very own comfortable viewing spot

No othe feline is allowed!

This is Margaret Ann, a dark tabby who lives with Giselle and who loves the finer things in life. Although she is surrounded by numerous other felines in her residence, she assumes a maternal right to her favoured spot. Good for her!

I like it here with Terri and I'm planning to stay here quite a while

I'm best pals with Mardi as you can see!

This is Doc, who is featured on the right hand side of the photograph, along with Mardi. He's joined a house full of felines, and he is number six ("I'm not a number ..." he cried, uselessly!). His best human friend is Terri who is very kind to accommodate all these felines under one roof - as if she had a choice!

I sleep a lot; perhaps it's because I live in hot Western Australia

My best human friend is Simmy - she's very kind to me!

This is Tiggy, who lives in Western Australia with her best human friends, Wendy and Simmy, She likes to sleep a lot and is ginger coloured - like Fredcat. When she is awake she likes to sit at the top of the steps and smell the flowers; but then most felines like to sit on high - and she is no exception.

My best human friend, Sue, is very patient with me following my mishap

She is very proud of me!

This is Sox, whose fame index has risen after appearing in a Fredcat tails story! She lives with her best human friend, Sue, who helps to keep her flying fur well groomed. Life with Sox is full of adventure and she is feeling very content at the moment. What a gal!

My best human friend, Ashley looks after me; she is very good to me

She lets me sleep anywhere!

This is Tom, who lives with his best human friend, Ashley, and another cool feline, Jerry. Tom is a hardy cat who can sleep anywhere. Ashley thinks he looks just like Fredcat the Famous - and she is right! I wonder what he's dreaming about? Sweet dreams, Tom!

I live with Tom and our best human friend, Ashley

I'm tired a lot of the time!

This is Jerry, who also lives with Tom and their best human friend, Ashley. There's plenty of good food for Tom and Jerry at Ashley's house, and Jerry is grabbing a bite to eat whilst Tom is away sleeping somewhere. Cunning cat!

My best human friend, Terri, looked after me

She's sad that I'm no longer with her!

This is Fred the Wondercat, (with his friend Tiki who just had to get in on the act!) Fred succumbed to chronic renal failure last February but he was always adored by his best human friend, Terri. He lived to be eleven years old and was looked after by Tiki - who often used Fred as a pillow!

I've been give a major responsibility

It'll be all right, don't you worry!

This is Mardi, who looks a lot like Fredcat the Famous. He’s been entrusted with looking after the family's brand new Fredcat the Famous bumper sticker which now belongs to his best human friend, Terri. He rather likes the nice cat rug but clearly the responsibility of guarding a bumper sticker is daunting!

I've taken over responsibility for guarding the bumper sticker

You're doing a good job!

This is Salem, a very friendly feline who has now started his shift, guarding the Fredcat he Famous bumper sticker. His best human friend, Terri, thinks that the combination of Salem's glossy black coat and his piercing bright eyes makes him a match for any intruder trying to make off with the prize!

I love bumper stickers

I guard this one with pride!

This is Casey, who simply loves (!) the new Fredcat the Famous bumper sticker. She couldn't wait to take over guarding duties, and decides that it’s her responsibility to watch the window in case any villains try to sneak in!

Just you keep your distance, matey!

That's O.K. by us!

This is Angel, who landed the final shift in guarding the new bumper sticker. Woe betide anyone, man or beast, who dares come near this aggressive moggie and tries to steal anything belonging to her best human friend, Terri. Angel weas pleased to report that she was able to hand over the bumper sticker, safe and sound, at the end of her shift. Well done, all!

I love boy cats in berets!

A bit of a secretive cat, heh!

This is Callie, a friendly feline from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina - sounds like she lives not too far from Fredcat's famous residence. Watch out for the hurricanes, Callie - hurricane season has a bit of time to go, yet! Callie likes the outdoor life, and appears to be a careful horticulturalist, judging by the quality of the grass in her back yard. Welcome, to Callie and her best human friend, Patsy!

I love boy cats in berets!

A bit of a secretive cat, heh!

This is Bootsie whose real name is LucyCat (but both Bootsie and I think that Bootsie is a great nickname for a secret agent). Her best human friend is LeeAnn. Bootsie lives with her older sister Olive. She plays in an ultra-cool little jazz combo with Olive and the neighbourhood Tom (!). She also likes haikus. As you can see, she is a secretive moggie and rumors abound that her seemingly private front is really a cover for a Mata Hari complex. A great Fredcat agent in the making, methinks!

I can be very domesticated

Off the door please!

This is Weezer who lives with her best human friend, Susan L. She became very excited when she heard she was to appear on Fredcat's photograph page. Weezer is very domesticated and loves to keep the dishes sparkling clean. Here she is giving full consideration to exactly which dishwasher power will produce the best results. She also likes to drink water straight from the bath tap - as long as it comes from the cold side!

I have sailed the seven seas

Anbd I have many other tales I can tell you young-uns!

This is The Capt'n who lives with his best human friend, Donna. He likes to dress up in his official Capt'n gear (Fredcat thinks that The Capt'n probably doesn't have much choice in the matter!) and takes a very respectable photograph - or so he thinks. Like all actors he is desperately hoping to be discovered but he might have to take small bit parts first. Any agents out there?

I can live outdoors, if needs must

But I have come to adore the warmth of living inside my new residence!

This is Kali who lives with her best human friend, Wanda. This little cutie is really an "outdoor" moggie but was persuaded, doubtless by inclement weather, to hang around inside her chosen residence to such an extent that she is now virtually an indoor cat. "Clever Clogs" Kali to find such an accommodating best human friend!

I am a very superior feline!

But I love my best human friend, Marg!

This is Snotty who considers herself to be far superior to most other felines and chose the name Snotty as an accurate descriptor. Snotty is a very good moggie and she is helping Fredcat on a difficult case which everyone will be able to read about shortly (after the case has been given the appropriate security clearances, of course!) Snotty is definitely the sort of cat to have on your side in a crisis.

I have to be up early to get my fair share

Having a white coat, I can blend in with almost anything

This is Snowy who lives with Ginger in Liverpool, England. He has to fight to get his share of the food because there are two other moggies living there as well, all aiming to have the first - and last bite! Added to which, there is a Molly d*g wanting her share, too! Life is very tough for Snowy.

I like climbing things!

And playing with anything that's available!

This is Eddie who is driving his best human friend, Mistole, up the wall. Eddie recently revealed (a) that he knows how to climb walls, and (b) has a startling talent in the "Pulling Curtains Down" category in life. He started out as a small, delicate-looking cat, did Eddie, but he has seriously sized feet. We get the feeling that given 12 months or so you won't be wanting to mess with Eddie ...

The Christmas presents seemed to vanish into thin air

I don't think it was your fault, admitted Cathie!

This is Claudia who has a best human friend, Mark, who lives in Liverpool, England. English cats Claudia and Nikita were on a visit to the Fredcat residence when they became involved in assisting Fredcat in a mystery about vanishing Christmas presents. It turned out that Mr. B. had been tricked into enabling the fearless Squire to borrow (!) the Christmas presents - but it all came good in the end. You can read the full story in this Fredcat tail

I also like Easter eggs

Don't you ever learn? smiled Cathie

This is Herbie who visited Fredcat along with friends Kitty and Patches. Herbie was the first kitten to give in to the temptations of the Easter eggs. But he soon gave himself away and an alert Fredcat was able to unmask him. It all ended happily in this tail.

I like chocolate Easter eggs

Not good for you at all, said Cathie

This is Kitty who feigned tiredness to get a sneak (eating) preview of the Easter eggs when on a visit to the Fredcat residence. She was found out by the Famous One in the Fredcat Tails story Easter Eggs tail

I was far too eager to get my share of the eggs

There are better things around for kittens to eat, said Cathie

This is Patches who visited Fredcat, along with friends Kitty and Herbie. He wasn't going to be left out of the fun, and partook of his fair share of the Easter eggs. There was a suggestion that Squire had played a part in all this but that turned out to be a red herring. Confused? Read this!

I am a delighful looking cat

You cerationly are! said Cathie

This is a cat show cat who found his (or her) way into the Fredcat Tails story called Catshow Capers. Fredcat's best human friend, Cathie, took this photograph as the next best thing to inviting the cat to live with Fredcat on a permanent basis.

Anothr cat show beauty

I'm just looking, said Cathie

This is a second cat show cat who found his (or her) way into the Fredcat Tails story Catshow Capers. Fredcat's best human friend, Cathie, wanted to invite the cat home, but the showcat's best human friend declined the offer. I wonder why?

It was very easy in the end to snag those ATM robbers

I's a great crime-busing cat!

This is Ginger who came to stay with Fredcat and helped him solve the mysteries about the vanishing ATMs and a series of local robberies. He and Fredcat are great pals - perhaps because they look alike? Perhaps because they come from the same part of the world? Maybe they're related!

I was found by Mr. B. one evening

Cathie wanted to keep me!

This is a "visitor" cat. He was found walking around late one night outside the Fredcat residence. He mewed persistently for food and shelter. Cathie offered him some food which was eagerly consumed and he seemed to want to come inside. Cathie was all for it (naturally!) but Mr. B. thought that Fredcat might object. Later on at bedtime, Cathie looked out for him but he had vanished and was never seen again. What a shame! Such a lovely looking cat!

I am a mystery cat but one day all be revealed

Well, you certainly look very attractive, said Cathie

Meet Chloe! Chloe is a beautiful longhaired white rescue cat - and a bit of a mystery. She recently appeared on the Fredcat scene, and her arrival was most surprising - but that's a tale for another day, Fredcat thinks. Suffice it to say that she's now found a good place to rest her beautiful head and has decided that she needs the protection of a guard-dog. This could be dangerous territory for a cat, but Chloe seems to thrive on danger. Is Chloe a potential agent? Fredcat muses ...

I am not supposed to tell you this but I am a secret agent

Your secret's safe with Fredcat's friends, said Cathie

Emi was the first continental secret agent recuited by Fredcat. He has helped uncover a few villains in his time and has come across to the US and UK to help solve some mysterious happenings. He usually resides in Italy but has clearly mastered several languages and has a host of devoted admirers (slaves) to help him live the life of luxury he craves away from the seedy world of espionage.

I love to be petted and love my humans

They seem to like you as well, smiled Cathie

Treacle lives in Yorkshire, England, and is a firm favourite of the humans she has befriended. She is so cuddly and friendly and will be comforted and cuddled by anyone. But she also patrols the official Treacle residence with diligence and keeps intruders at bay. No getting past this cutie, I can tell you!

On the face of it I am quite demure

You clearly like weddings, said Cathie

This is Jasmine who starred, if that is the correct word, in a bit of a cunning sleight of paw in Fredcat's wedding bells Tails story. Jasmine loves weddings and dressing up! Can you believe that such a good looking cat would do such a thing as she did in that story?

I am very happy where I am, thank you very much.

May I sit down next to you, please? asked Cathie

Here is Nikita, a great friend of Fredcat. She likes to curl up on any settee and is always ready for a romp. She went to the wedding of David and Laura and had a wonderful time, helping to solve the mystery of the vanishing trinkets. She's moved house a number of times and doesn't mind all the travelling about in the least. Such a sweetie!

The Fredcat the Famous biscuit pyramid

Mr. B thinks that this is going too far.

Fredcat the Famous, like all famous creatures, believes that fame is worth flouting when you get the chance. Here he is surrounded by part of his biscuit pile, tastefully arranged in an attractive pyramidal shape. Read all about his cat biscuit cornucopia in this Fredcat tail.

Fredcat presents flowers to his adopted mum on Mother's Day.

Mr. B wonders what he has been up to that requires flowers as a peace offering.

This is a surprisingly shy picture of Fredcat as he presents a bouquet of flowers to his "mum" on Mother's Day. She was very pleased.

Fredcat planning his next trip abroad.

Mr. B muses about the lack of brakes in the Fredcraft. Will he return safely?

This is Fredcat in his modified travel craft, he calls it his "Fredcraft". Acquired only recently from the renowned HT workshops, he has been able to travel quite large distances in it, as readers of his diary will discover.

Fredcat contemplating setting up a new filing system.

Mr. B knows that Fredcat never goes near a PC unless it is to have a quiet snooze.

Here Fredcat examines his files before addressing the ardors of another day at the PC. There is clearly much paperwork involved in being famous and Fredcat is concerned never to allow bureaucracy to gain the upper hand.

Fredcat delving into the depths of his briefcase before he sets off to Brussels.

Mr. B wonders if Fredcat even knows where Brussels is!

Here Fredcat has a closer look in his briefcase before he shoots off to present his latest cat findings to the International League of Much Travelled Cats, in Brussels. There is important work to be done here and he means to get to the bottom of it before he departs.

Fredcat waiting for his important calls before he sets off on another dangerous mission.

Mr. B wonders if that desk is as comfortable as it looks.

Here Fredcat rests up while waiting for important calls from important people. His fax machine has been working flat out and he is almost ready to leap into action to save more terrified souls from the evil ones.

Fredcat being pretty annoyed at this indignity and itching to get out and get on with being famous.

Mr. B suspects that that cage is rather uncomfortable and is glad that Fredcat is the one inside!.

Here Fredcat find himself in a very undignified position for such a celebrity - in an airline-approved cat carrier to enable his travel from England to North Carolina (where they have some strange laws about emigrating cats, even famous ones).

Fredcat is watching the screen carefully in case it dazzles the rest of the household. He is determined to fight off this evil.

Mr. B believes that the eerie monitor has already had an effect and that Fredcat is in the land of dreams once more.

Here Fredcat is resting again before another difficult foray into the world of commerce. His business "toys" are all around but the blue light from the monitor has had an hypnotic effect such that Fredcat is fighting off the desire to sleep - with little success.

Fredcat is counting the packing cases to check that he has not missed any boxes of biscuits during the move.

Mr. B knows that Fredcat likes a good book but thinks that they are for Fredcat to sleep on.

Here Fredcat is wondering where to put all the travel books he has accumulated. All this moving house has made him giddy - he has hardly had time to unpack before he is off again. It was a good thing he kept all those packing cases which came in useful to store the Felix Rascal's Reward biscuits.

I had to find out where Persia was and bring her back

But you decided to stay on and listen as well, said Fredcat

This is Pasha who left to go to look for his house mate Persia at the local gig. In the event he liked the new music much better than the home stuff himself and stayed till the end. A poor male cat who was definitely led astray by his female house mate! Fredcat had to lay the law down to him as well.

I wanted to explore the world of pop music

We thought you had been cat-napped!

This is Persia who decided that the music she had to listen to at home was not to her taste. So one evening she hopped it to go see a performance by the "Crazy Cutie Cats", and everyone thought she had been cat-napped. Fredcat was sent for but it didn't take him long to track her down and point out the error of her ways.

Thomas suggesting that the owners of the Fredcat residence depart as soon as possible.

Mr. B is astonished that Thomas is so cheeky. Whose house is it, after all?!

This is Thomas, a very nice but tough ginger cat. Unfortunately he and Fredcat the Famous disagreed over the ownership of some land. A number of friendly discussions occurred between them with the result that fur flew in all directions. You would not be surprised to learn that most of the fur was of a ginger hue, with chunks of white thrown in. This picture shows Thomas purporting himself in territory which is clearly that of Fredcat - Fredcat's family room! Is Thomas fearless? Oh yes!! Is Thomas a good opponent for Fredcat? Oh yes!! But Thomas became a faithful ally of the famous cat in later days, as you will discover when you read further chapters of the diary of The Famous One.

This is little me This is little me!

Mr. B thinks he isn't that cute at all! - I am so smart!
Yes, we cats are all so splendid but as a "Famous Cat" I do stand out you know
